Changing Young Children's
Lives For Good

Medical Care

In slums with little food, no clean water and poor sanitation, diseases are common, especially pneumonia and diarrhea, which kill many young children in poor countries. Although many medicines cost less than $1, mothers often cannot afford them. Regular checkups and emergency medical care can literally save these children's lives. Every year GCL provides over 50 small children with medicine, doctor visits, dental treatment, immunizations, de-worming pills and other basic care.
