Often some food, a little medicine or a warm blanket can give a child the strength needed to fight off sickness and infections. But desperately poor families, worn down by hunger and diseases such as AIDS, have nothing—often not even food—to give their young children. As a result, thousands of boys and girls under five die every day. Their deaths are a silent, global tragedy.
The mission of GIVE A CHILD LIFE is to help save the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children. Through child care centers and other programs providing food, medical care and education, GIVE A CHILD LIFE helps boys and girls under five years old in developing countries have the chance to live. GCL also helps parents, especially single mothers, take better care of their families.
